Annapurna Region Receives Over 24,000 Foreign Tourists in a Month

Last Kartik month, during the autumn season (mid-October to mid-November), a total of 24,409 foreign tourists visited the Annapurna Region for trekking and other adventurous activities.

In a single month, the Annapurna Region welcomed over 24,000 foreign visitors, of whom 7,479 were from South Asia and the remaining 16,930 were from other nations.

As per Rabin Kadaria, who is the chief of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), the month of Kartik had the third-highest number of tourist arrivals. Baisakh and Asoj are the first and second-highest months to receive the highest number of foreign tourists, respectively. This record is taken as per the year 2080 B.S.
