Reaching Kande-the small town which is our starting point of the trek to Mardi Himal Trek for 3 days making it a short and sweet trek with short intervals of time.
Along the way, we will encounter the dense forest of Oak, Rhododendron flowers, and the different species of birds mainly found in the Annapurna region of Nepal. As we keep on gaining the attitude towards the Himalayas, the mesmerizing views of the snow-capped Himalayas and the hills seem more precious.
Passing the dense forest for a few hours with up and down hills then we reach the Forest Camp. We will be passing via the village of Dhampus, Pothana to reach the small settlement where lodges and tea houses are available for our overnight stay in Forest Camp.
Spending Quality of Time in Forest Camp last night, early this morning we enjoyed the morning sunrise and then will explore the destination.
After having breakfast, we will start climbing the steep stairs beside the dense forest of Rhododendron flowers. The trail takes us within the dense forest with the step walking trails leading us to Low Camp and Badal Danda.
The tree lines seem to disappear after passing the Badal Danda, and the Himalayan herbs and shrubs start to take place along the way to High Camp.
Along the way the beautiful majestic view of the Himalayas such as Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, and Mardi Himal. Overnight stay at High Camp.
This morning we will wake up early around 3 AM and start to hike to View Point at an altitude of 4,200m for a good sunrise view and the best panoramic views of the snow-capped Himalayas such as Annapurna south, Machhapuchhre, and Mardi Himal.
As we reach the hilltop at the Viewpoint the speed of the wind increases and the weather seems more freezing. will explore the viewpoint and summit the Mardi Base Camp, which is challenging to summit as the trail needs to be passed via a narrow path.
After exploring the View Point and MBC we return back to High Camp and will have our Lunch. After Lunch, with a big and heavy heart, we descend down to the village of Siding via Low Camp and Badal Danda. Returning back is all steeply way and getting down to the lower altitude where the tree lines seem active.
Reaching SIding, we drive to Pokhara which is about 2/3 hours. We will spend our night in Pokhara City with our teammates and have a successful trek party with the guides in the evening. We all will have our dinner together in the Hotel at Pokhara.
