Itinerary of Everest Panorama Trek

On the first day of the trek, you will be picked up and transferred to the hotel by a super-friendly representative of Blue Lake Adventure. At the airport, you will be welcomed by our representative with a proper greeting. You will also get to meet the trekking guide and learn more about the adventures ahead.

On this day, we will have an approx. 45 minutes – scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. On reaching Tenzing-Hillary airport, one of the dangerous airports, you will get to enjoy the delightful view of Lukla village. Then, the guide will introduce you to other crew members who will help you carry your luggage during the trek.

We will then begin our trek from Lukla, descending towards the Dudh Koshi River. Enjoying the beautiful scenes around, we will then trek through charming Sherpa villages and reach Phakding, which lies at an elevation of 2,610m.

Then, we will have an overnight stay at Phakding. We will find the nearest and available hotel/lodge to spend the night. During the overnight stay, we will have standard food available in the hotel.

After having an overnight stay at Phakding, we will head to Namche Bazaar. The trek takes almost 6 hours so we will prepare for the trek before beginning. During the trek, we will cross suspension bridges and enter Sagarmatha National Park.

After spending some time at Sagarmatha National Park, we will head on to our journey by trekking along the banks of Dudh Koshi River. Throughout the trip, you can take in the stunning scenery of terrain, various plants, and fauna.

We will then ascend through the dense forest of alpine trees to reach Namche Bazaar – The Gateway to the high Himalayas. Namche Bazaar is located at an altitude of 3,440m.

After reaching Namche Bazaar, we will explore through the markets of Namche Bazaar and enjoy some of the valuable time with the locals. Overnight, we will stay at the best teahouse and enjoy the delicious Nepali cuisine Daal Bhaat. While trekking in the trail of Phakding to Namche Bazaar, we will have standard meals including breakfast, lunch & dinner.

On this day, we will stay in Namche Bazaar to explore different places of Namche Bazaar. Also, it is essential to adjust the altitude because we will continue our trail at a higher altitude. During acclimatization, we will explore thoroughly and know more about the ethics & culture of the Sherpa community.

Namche Bazaar also has a Sherpa museum, so it will be exciting to visit the museum. From Namche Bazaar, it is possible to enjoy panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Everest, Ama Dablam, and other peaks.

We will then spend the night in the hotel with proper meals, and prepare to continue our journey to Everest Panorama Trek.

After spending a day at Namche Bazaar, our body will adapt to the altitude which will reduce the probability of having altitude sickness. On this day, we will resume the trek and follow the scenic trail with breathtaking views. We will descend through the Dudh Koshi River and ascend through the Rhododendron forests.

Finally, after trekking for about 4-5 hours, we will reach Tengboche (3,867m) and visit the Tengboche monastery. Tengboche is the highest altitude we will cover up on this trek.

Later on the same day, we will explore the places of Tengboche and spend an overnight at the teahouse enjoying the delicious Nepali cuisine offered by the teahouse.

During the exploration, we will go through monasteries, sherpa museum, Everest view point where we can enjoy the breath-taking view of the majestic peaks. It is great to have a rest and enjoy Nepali cuisine. Our staff will help you through how to eat Daal Bhaat and we will have conversations on our further adventure.

We are almost at the end of our trek. After having a morning breakfast and exploring some of the nearest locations, we will then head back to Namche Bazaar, passing through Khumjung Village.

Khumjung village is one of the stunning villages of Everest region located at an altitude of 3,700 meters. It is also the largest civilization in Sherpa where we can gain insight into the real lifestyles of the Sherpa community. During the trek, we will meet different people and have conversation with the community talking about their lifestyles which will help us to know about the Sherpa community.

Continuing on the trail, we will pass by Hillary school and accept it as a stopping point. The school was founded by the Sir Edmund Hillary foundation, which is a high school for the students of Khumjung village.

After visiting different places of Khumjung village, and communicating with the Sherpa community we will resume our trail back to Namche. Descending through the forest and crossing Dudh Koshi River, we will reach Namche Bazaar where we will spend our overnight.

While staying overnight, we will try some local goods and seasonal fruits available. Also, we will enjoy the delicious local cuisine offered by the teahouse available nearby. We may even enjoy firewood considering the climate outside.

After enjoying days of trekking with the beautiful views of snow-capped mountains, terrains, dense forest, bloomed flowers, we will continue our journey to end our Everest Panorama View Trek.

On this day, we will trek to Luka Village from Namche Bazaar. After being refreshed at Namche Bazaar and enjoying the local shop tea, we will prepare to embark on our journey to Lukla village. While tracing back the trails to Lukla village, we will pass by different forests, and sherpa villages. On the way, we will talk about the mesmerizing views, take photographs and videos making it a part of the memory.

Suspension bridges are fun to walk on because we can enjoy the view of the river from upwards. The view of the river is definitely one of the best parts because the water is clear and clean which offers an eye-pleasing view. Crossing the suspension bridge we will reach Lukla village and we will celebrate the successful completion of the Everest Panorama Trek.

Also, we will spend an overnight in the Lukla village. We will enjoy communicating with the locals, enjoy Nepali music and dance together. We will also learn about the people’s lifestyles and enjoy delicious Daal Bhaat and other additional Nepali cuisine.

We will take an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu after enjoying hot tea/coffee. After reaching Kathmandu, we will transfer you to the hotel of Thamel. On this day, you will spend the night in Kathmandu.

This day will be fun because we will enjoy the farewell dinner at Nepalese Traditional Kitchen and enjoy the authentic Nepali cuisine, culture and hospitality.

Then we will descend to beautiful landscapes crossing the suspension bridge of the Dudh Koshi River.

Continuing the trail, we will reach Namche Bazaar – the homestay of the Sherpa Community. During the trek, you will go through Hillary suspension bridge and pass through beautiful terrains and pine forests. Furthermore, we will continue the journey to Tengboche; The home of the biggest Buddhist Monastery. Upon reaching Tengboche, you will get to experience the beauty of Mt. Everest and other peaks.
