The Annapurna region of Nepal, a couple of hundred kilometers northwest of Kathmandu, is renowned for its blend of undisturbed nature, spectacular mountain views, and embracing culture. Ghandruk is a beautiful village with a number of slate-roofed houses, paved courtyard, a museum, Buddhist monastery and the trip will remain ideal for those wishing to experience Nepal’s mountain scenery and ethnic culture within a short time. Accommodations and food in the region are highest standard with electricity, hot showers as per the clients taste and budget.
Dhampus is another beautiful village heavily settled by Gurung communities similar to Ghandruk. Now that is an understatement. This trek starts from Phedi, 07-08 hours drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara and 01 hours drive from Pokhara and end at Pokhara. This is a trouble-free and sweet walk in the middle hills of Nepal that lay near Pokhara the beautiful lake city. On this trek, we travel around the local culture and custom, fascinating heart hill parts of the Nepal
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel by private vehicle.
Day 02: Sightseeing In Kathmandu
After sumptuous breakfast we take you on a guided day trip to world heritage sites within a Kathmandu valley and highlights of surrounding area. We then visit the Pilgrimage sites of Hindu temple PASHUPATI NATH, one of the most important shrines of Shiva temples on the subcontinents which is home to thousands of devotees and Shadhus(holy men). Similarly, you visit BOUDHA NATH other pilgrimage center which is very popular and important place for Buddhist. After having lunch on the way proceed to SWAYAMBHUNATH also known as monkey temple perched in the hill top on the southwest part of Kathmandu. Then we visit the Paten and Kathmandu Durbar square where we find temple ancient architecture and fine Art as well as living goddess KUMARI. If you like to spend more days we recommend you to visit Kritipur, Bungmati Bhaktapur Thimi,Nagarkot as well as Everest flight known as mountain flight . For those programs you have to prolong your travel day more than point out Itinerary.
Day 03: Drive to Pokhara
After breakfast heading to Pokhara (incase if you fly to Lumbini it takes 25 Minutes) by our private vehicle. The drive takes approximately six hours, taking you through the river view and Nepalese countryside. We then transferred to your hotel in LAKE-SIDE, and then rest of the time is overwhelming and exploring the countryside around Fewa Lake.Day 04: Pokhara to Phedi and Dhampus (1600 m)
Early morning, after breakfast, an hour drive from Pokhara to Phedi, then start your trek with passing Jungle and village, whilst on clear day, you can see the awesome view of Annapurna & Dhaulagiri range where Phedi is a small town, which is one of the gateways to the Annapurna region. Our five hours trek ends here in Dhampus. overnight at lodge.
Day 05: Dhampus to Sarangkot (1720 m)
Take breakfast at the same lodge and then trek to Sarankot; five to six hours easy walk. Over night at Lodge and see the sun set view.
Day 06: Sarangkot to Pokhara
Take the best sunrise view in the morning and then trek down to Pokhara (2 hours walking) and over night at hotel in the lake side.
Day 07: Drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus /flight and over night at hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 08: Final departure by private Vehicle airport or start another trip.
